Johnny Depp – Sweeney Shaving
We haven’t seen Johnny Depp this clean cut since his days as “Ed Wood” way back in the day. And Johnny Depp seems to be embracing the cleaned-up look.
Depp was spotted on the set of his new movie “Public Enemies” on Wednesday in full period costume. He graciously waved to fans in between takes, and looked to be enjoying himself.
Then, Depp took some time out of his busy shooting schedule in Columbus, Wisconsin to shake a few hands and pose for a few pictures.
Johnny is starring alongside Christian Bale, Channing Tatum, and Marion Cotillard in a flick about the Feds trying to take down notorious American gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd during a booming crime wave in the 1930s.
Jennifer Aniston – Out on Miami Beach
The Jennifer Aniston bikini days have continued on Miami Beach heading into the holiday weekend, as the former Friends star was out in the Florida sun sporting a skimpy little bikini that hugged to her skin.
Jen has been living it up in the sunshine state as she continues working on the movie ‘Marley and Me’ with Owen Wilson – which has led to rumors of a possible new celebrity romance between the pair.
The Hollywood duo were all over each other even when the cameras stopped rolling during the filming. Aniston initially had reservations about working with Wilson in light of his recent troubles, but after a couple of days on the set it was business as usual.
Sophie Monk Named 2008′s Most Beautiful Person
Queenslander Sophie Monk has beaten a host of hotties to be crowned Who’s Most Beautiful Person of 2008.
The former Bardot songstress, who recently split with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, took top spot on the list from multi-ARIA Award winning Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem and New Zealand-born Australian pop singer Ricki-Lee Coulter.
The list was announced and compiled by WHO magazine, reports The Courier Mail.
Cricket star Michael Clarke also made the list at No 13.
Winona Ryder In New Shoplifting Scandal
The 36-year-old actress was spotted leaving a Hollywood store with make-up on her that she hadn’t paid for, according to a U.S. report.
Actress Winona made headlines six years ago, when at the peak of her career she was convicted of shoplifting 3,000 sterling pounds (about 5955 U.S. dollars) worth of clothing from a Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.
Now in a new incident, according to America’s National Enquirer magazine, the “Girl Interrupted” star recently set off the security alarm at Hollywood CVC Pharmacy after making several purchases.
According to the publication, when she left the store, she set off an alarm that drew the attention of a security guard.
A store employee is quoted as saying: “Winona had a bag of stuff, but she set off the theft alarm when she left the store.

For all guys out there who love Adriana Lima, you may want to get the latest copy of GQ magazine.
Adriana Lima is the latest issue’s covergirl, and there are some pretty steamy photos inside.
Miss Lima was at Saks Fifth Avenue yesterday to promote the mag and sign autographs.
In the cover story, Adriana reveals her strict “no sex before marriage” rule, as well as the high standards she hold for her suitors.
She states, “Sex is for after marriage. They (men) have to respect that this is my choice. If there’s no respect, that means they don’t want me. When we’re traveling together for the first time, we sleep in different rooms. That’s the number one thing.”
“Show me you can take care of me. Say you’re taking me to dinner: I expect you to pick me up and open the car door for me. Hold the restaurant door while I enter and pull out the chair for me when I sit down. Stand up when I go to the restroom and again when I return.”

Depp on the set in Columbus, Wisconsin
Johnny Depp took to the set of his new movie in Columbus, Wisconsin on Monday (March 17).
Depp and his Hollywood crew are filming Public Enemies, in which Depp plays 1930’s bank robber John Dillinger.
According to local press, directors kept fans blocks away from the filming – but hundreds of Depp lovers flocked to Columbus, trying to get a glimpse of the Hollywood star.
“He rolled down his dark window as he rode by and waved at all of us as we were waiting,” told a fan, adding, “I never thought a big movie would come here or anywhere near us, so it’s kind of exciting.”
Press reports tell that Johnny and his film crew will be in Wisconsin for a few more days, before moving on to film at other locations.

’2001: A Space Odyssey’ Author Arthur C. Clarke Dies
Pioneering science fiction writer and visionary Arthur C. Clarke, best known for his work on the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey“, has died in his adopted home of Sri Lanka at the age of 90. He died of heart failure doctors linked to the post-polio syndrome that had kept him wheelchair-bound for years.
Marking his “90th orbit of the sun” in December, the prolific British-born author and theorist made three birthday wishes: For E.T. to call, for man to kick his oil habit and for peace in Sri Lanka.
Clarke was born in England on Dec. 16, 1917, and served as a radar specialist in the Royal Air Force during World War Two.
He was one of the first to suggest the use of satellites orbiting the earth for communications, and in the 1940s forecast that man would reach the moon by the year 2000 — an idea experts at first dismissed as rubbish.

Britney Spears Set For ‘South Park’
Britney Spears has landed another TV spot just days after filming an episode of comedy “How I Met Your Mother”–on “South Park.”
The pop singer will join Marilyn Manson and Tom Cruise among the stars who have been parodied on the cult cartoon series, when her likeness appears in an episode that airs on Wednesday.
In the episode, “South Park” regulars Stan and Kyle take on a mission to get a troubled Spears to the North Pole.
In a news release, a spokesman for the show says, “Britney Spears is trying to get away from it all in the mountains near South Park when the boys have a run-in with her.
“Stan and Kyle get caught up in Britney’s celebrity and the never-ending feeding frenzy that follows her wherever she goes.”
Jennifer Aniston is Happy and Healthy
Jennifer Aniston looks happier and healthier than ever while taking a film break from Marley & Me in Miami, Calif. on Tuesday.The Big Blog has a little nugget on Aniston unable to film scenes in Seattle, Washington for her other movie Traveling because she was in Miami filming Marley and Me.
Said Traveling co-writer Mike Thompson, “We literally planned from the beginning how to integrate her in Seattle. We fabricated a gum wall (the entire length of the wall is literally covered in chewing gum) in Vancouver so we could shoot the two of them in a two-shot in front of it. We shot Aaron Eckhart and Judy Greer and a photo double for Jennifer (in Seattle).
We did the same thing at the troll. In Vancouver we shot her whole body in front of green screen. We have a wide shot of a group staring up at the troll, and we’ll literally insert her body in between them.
Also, we shot a two-shot of her and Aaron in front of Vancouver, under the 99 bridge, where there are the big giant columns. We built one of the big giant columns in Vancouver and shot them in front of it. We did the same thing at Bruce and Brandon Lee’s graves – replicated those in Vancouver and shot them there.
